This program was created to help new nursing school graduates make the transition into a nursing career. You’ll start with a new grad celebration dinner. Then, through the program, you’ll conduct an NCLEX Review, cover test-taking strategies and attend a welcome reception. The program also includes several courses:
- Transition from Student to Nurse
- Time Management Strategies and Methods for Prioritization
- Methods for Good Communication Skills
- Stress Management
- The Role of the RN in Delegation and Working with Ancillary Staff
- Dealing with Conflict
- Methods and Scenarios for Improving Critical Thinking Skills
- Working with Physicians and other Team Relationships
- Ethical Dilemmas and Being a Compassionate Caregiver
